ICT Technology Designer
Job Summary:
We are currently looking for one (1) ICT Technology Designer.
In this role, you will:
Be assisting and working with an ICT Project Manager and the greater project team members to provide designs for IMIT Systems Designs that are in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards, and the Client requirements. The IMIT systems designs will address a range of Digital Systems:
- Structured Cabling System Infrastructure [Fiber & Copper Backbone/Distribution Cabling].
- Wireless Access Points [Wi-Fi].
- Distributed Antenna Systems [DAS].
- Security Systems [Security CCTV, Access Control & Intrusion Detection].
- Intercommunication System.
- Public Address Systems.
- Emergency Call Systems
- Audio Visual Systems.
- Nurse Call Systems.
- Lighting Control Systems.
- Building Management Systems.
You will assist with the design and documentation of IMIT systems in Revit, while gradually developing the knowledge and experience needed to take on broader design responsibilities within the Integrated Communication & System Solutions (ICS2) Team.

You have the following qualifications and are looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity.
- At least 2 years’ related experience designing ICT Systems for various building types.
- Completion of either of the following:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Skills/abilities:
- Revit experience would be an asset.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work within a team under supervision and be able to transition to work independently quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, with the ability to quickly learn and use software tools required for design work and project coordination.
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Onsite
Travel: Occasional travel may be required within the GTA.
Compensation: Annual salary range: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 CAD commensurate with experience.
