About the role
Role Summary Astadaily® is looking for a creative and driven Marketing & Digital Content Specialist to support the growth of our emerging Canadian wellness brand focused on premium microalgae innovation.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about branding, storytelling, social media, and digital marketing within the wellness, beauty, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) space. You’ll help create engaging content across social media, email marketing, website content, and digital campaigns while helping grow Astadaily’s presence as a premium Canadian astaxanthin brand.
Success in this role looks like building strong and consistent brand communications, growing digital engagement, executing creative campaigns, and helping elevate Astadaily’s brand presence across online and retail channels.
You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative team in a fast-moving startup environment with strong opportunities for growth, creativity, and ownership.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage content across Instagram, email marketing, online community and website platforms
- Design social media graphics, retail marketing materials, promotional assets, and digital content using Canva and other creative tools
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns, influencer collaborations, retail activations, and product launches
- Write engaging and authentic brand content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and website pages
- Collaborate with team members across marketing, operations, and product development to support brand growth initiatives
- Help translate product and wellness concepts into clear, consumer-friendly messaging
- Support the creation of retail expansion materials including flyers, posters, brochures, and in-store assets
- Monitor content performance, social engagement, and digital trends to support ongoing improvements
- Maintain consistent visual identity and brand messaging across all channels
Qualifications
- Experience in digital marketing, social media content creation, branding, or graphic design
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create engaging, brand-aligned content
- Video editing or short-form content creation experience Proficiency with Canva and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new creative and marketing tools
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Fast learner who is comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving priorities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a small team
- Experience with email marketing and social media campaign execution
- Interest or familiarity with wellness, beauty, supplements, or CPG brands is a plus
- Mandarin is a mandatory, as we also collaborate with an overseas team
For this role, we are partering with BioTalant Canada, Participants must be: Between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) Not be in school full-time Able to work full-time A Canadian citizen, or permanent resident or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act Legally entitled to work in Canada Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
