We’re a naan traditional company… Summary Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing – Indirect, this role is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier selection and onboarding, RFx management (RFI/RFQ/RFP), contract negotiations, and supplier performance management across indirect spend categories. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop strategic partnerships, drive cost savings, mitigate risk, and support operational excellence across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Unleashing Your Potential Competitive Compensation, Health Benefits, & a generous flexible medical / Health spending account Responsibilities Lead sourcing events (RFQ/RFP/RFI) for indirect categories including MRO, facility services, logistics, uniforms, waste management, and other operational expenses. Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, service, and risk. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers. Conduct spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Plant teams to support business requirements. Maintain supplier and sourcing data within SAP and ensure compliance with procurement processes. Support supplier onboarding and qualification requirements, including food safety and quality standards. Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to support category strategies.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Category Management within a manufacturing, food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or industrial environment. Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site or multi-plant manufacturing environment. Proven experience managing indirect spend categories such as MRO, facility services, logistics, transportation, waste management, PPE, uniforms, and other operational services. Demonstrated success leading sourcing events (RFI/RFQ/RFP), supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier onboarding activities. Strong contract negotiation skills with a proven track record of delivering cost savings, cost avoidance, and service improvements. Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing Excel, spend analysis tools, and procurement data to support sourcing decisions and category strategies. Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is considered an asset. Professional procurement designation (SCMP, CPSM, SPSM, CIPS, CPP, or equivalent) is considered an asset.
