We are now looking for an experienced Terminal Manager to join our Winnipeg Service Centre team:

Responsibilities Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the entire operations of our Winnipeg Service Centre and will effectively manage employees to ensure that they are performing duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Direct the organization’s ongoing operations and activities toward the accomplishment of organizational goals while managing the cost. Perform duties in accordance with the Corporate Standards of Business Conduct Evaluate different alternatives and utilize his/her discretion to make independent decisions regarding your area of responsibility. Direct the planning, development and implementation of necessary policies and procedures. Provide KPI metrics and reporting in an accurate and timely manner. Ability to recognize, reward and reinforce good performance. Ability to manage, coach and instruct employees to help improve their work performance and self-esteem. Other duties as required

Required Skills: 5 years plus of experience in Transportation Industry or worked on a Managerial role Experience in a unionized environment would be an asset. Experience with interline partner relationships. Listening, leadership and teamwork skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and a desire to continually improve. Energetic, creative thinker with a competitive desire to continually meet goals and exceed expectations.
