Job summary
The Sales Ecommerce Specialist plays a critical role in driving online sales performance and ensuring operational excellence across retailers’ ecommerce platforms. This position is responsible for executing and optimizing product listings, promotions, and digital merchandising while leveraging data to improve key business outcomes.
Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer service, this role acts as a central point of coordination to deliver a seamless and high-performing online customer experience. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Primary responsibilities
Product Listing Management - Own the end-to-end management of product listings across ecommerce platforms, ensuring all content (titles, descriptions, images, attributes) is accurate, optimized, and aligned with brand and platform requirements. Sales Performance & Analytics - Monitor and analyze ecommerce KPIs including sales, conversion rates, traffic, and inventory levels. Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance and drive revenue growth. Promotional Execution & Optimization - Plan, coordinate, and execute promotions, price changes, and merchandising updates in alignment with commercial and marketing calendars. Track performance and optimize future initiatives. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination - Partner closely with inventory and supply chain teams to monitor stock levels, anticipate risks, and proactively mitigate out-of-stock or overstock situations. Content & SEO Optimization - Continuously improve product pages through enhanced copy, keywords, and digital assets to increase visibility, search performance, and conversion rates. Retail Media & Partner Collaboration - Support the execution and optimization of retail media campaigns and collaborate with external partners to maximize performance and visibility on key platforms. Customer Experience Management - Work cross-functionally to resolve escalated customer issues and ensure a consistent and positive end-to-end online experience. Marketplace Compliance & Governance - Ensure all product listings adhere to marketplace guidelines, brand standards, and regulatory requirements. Cross-Functional Leadership - Act as a key point of contact for ecommerce initiatives, collaborating with sales, marketing, logistics, and finance teams to support business objectives and drive results.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, or sales operations Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and online consumer behavior Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform dashboards) is an asset Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Bilingual: English & French, some of our customers are located outside Quebec and speak only English
