We are seeking an experienced Capital Markets Project Manager to support the delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives across Capital Markets, Trading, and Front Office functions. The ideal candidate will have strong project/program management experience within a major financial institution or Big 4 consulting environment, combined with a solid understanding of Capital Markets products, trading environments, and the trade lifecycle. This is a project/program management role, not a Market Risk or Operations Management position. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology to coordinate deliverables, manage dependencies, track execution, and drive initiatives through to completion. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive self-starter who can independently identify priorities, follow up on actions, anticipate issues, and ensure project objectives are delivered on time. Job Title: Capital Markets Project Manager Location: Mississauga, ON (hybrid) Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion) Key Responsibilities Support the Markets Transformation leadership team in driving execution of regulatory and business deliverables. Manage project and program management activities across complex Capital Markets and Trading initiatives. Coordinate working groups, workshops, governance meetings, and ad hoc sessions with senior stakeholders. Partner with stakeholders across Front Office, Trading, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology to track deliverables and drive actions to completion. Maintain project plans, action logs, issue/risk trackers, dependency logs, meeting minutes, and other project documentation. Provide clear and concise status reporting, highlighting progress, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and next steps. Manage internal and external dependencies across multiple initiatives and Technology teams. Gather business requirements and work with business and technology partners to develop BRDs, process flows, project plans, and other project artifacts. Support the socialization and approval of target-state processes, tools, and controls through appropriate governance forums. Identify potential roadblocks and proactively follow up with stakeholders to keep deliverables moving. Analyze large datasets where required to identify trends, issues, patterns, and actionable conclusions. Maintain a strong project audit trail and ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date. Support both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments as required. Required Qualifications 5+ years of relevant project/program management experience within complex financial institutions, Tier 1 banks, or Big 4 consulting firms. Demonstrated experience delivering projects or workstreams within Capital Markets. Strong understanding of Capital Markets structures, products, technology, and operating environments. Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle across multiple products and asset classes. Experience working directly with Front Office, Trading, and/or Sales teams. Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile software delivery methodologies. Proven ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business and technology teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities. Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel/spreadsheets, project documentation, and data analysis. Understanding of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements within Capital Markets. Requirements

Requires at least five years of project or program management experience in a complex financial institution, Tier 1 bank, or Big 4 consulting firm, including delivery experience in Capital Markets. Candidates should understand Capital Markets products and the trade lifecycle, have experience with Front Office, Trading, or Sales teams, and be proficient in Agile and Waterfall delivery, stakeholder communication, project documentation, and data analysis.
