The educator is responsible for implementing an emergent curriculum and maintaining accurate documentation and health and safety records. They will also support children's social, emotional, and physical development while collaborating with various professional specialists.

Responsibilities-being * Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping * Implement an Emergent Curriculum * Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills * Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks * Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary * Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms * Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops Specifications * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents, and co-workers. * Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations * Strong collaborator and team player * Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom * Strong problem-solving skills Qualifications * Valid British Columbia ECE License * Criminal Record Check * Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR * Immunizations up to date * Ability to push, pull, and lift up-to 45 pounds What we offer Be recognized for your contribution, your dedication, and hard work, and go home knowing you’ve helped the world progress. * Comprehensive benefits package (Medical / Dental / Vision exam) 100% covered by the company * Positive work environment with encouraging team members and opportunities for career advancement * 35% off on our child care services and receive 20 days of FREE backup child care per year!
