We are currently seeking a qualified RA or ECEA who also holds a valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence to support our school‑age (OSC) programs, including safe transportation to and from school. This role is ideal for a caring, dependable educator who enjoys working with school‑age children and thrives in a split‑shift schedule. SHIFT SCHEDULE (SPLIT SHIFT) * Morning: 7:45 am – 9:00 am * Afternoon: 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm RESPONSIBILITIES * Safely transport school‑age children to and from school and scheduled outings * Ensure all transportation, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times * Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and required record‑keeping * Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioural well‑being * Promote children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development * Support children during transitions in and out of classrooms * Maintain attendance records and complete required health and safety checks * Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as needed * Participate actively in team meetings, trainings, and workshops SPECIFICATIONS * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills * Ability to take initiative inside and outside the classroom * Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities * Comfortable using computer systems for documentation and reporting QUALIFICATIONS * British Columbia ECA or ECE License (required) * Valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence (required) * Clear Criminal Record Check * Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR * Up‑to‑date immunizations * Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds * Experience working with school‑age children is considered a strong asset WHAT WE OFFER Be recognized for your dedication, your contributions, and your hard work—knowing that you’re helping the world progress, one child at a time. * Positive and supportive work environment * Opportunities for ongoing career growth and development Little Willows by Kids & Company is an equal‑opportunity employer.
