Job Purpose The Material Handler supports production operations by maintaining clean and organized work areas, assisting with shipping and receiving, and working across various manufacturing and assembly line stations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, adaptable, and available to work rotating 8-hour shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends. Responsibility Cleaning and organizing areas within the plant as required Fulfilling duties assigned in compliance with OHSA Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, Health & Safety, Food Safety & Environmental Standards Supporting shipping and receiving operations as needed Working on manufacturing/assembly lines in different stations as required Other duties as assigned Qualifications Completion of secondary school (OSSD or equivalent) Ability to quickly identify and take action in a safe manner Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time including bending, twisting and walking Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in food industry, is an asset Must be available to work days, nights and weekends Competency Care Dare Inspire Share What Lactalis Will Offer Social advantages Food donation Free drinks (coffee, tea,etc.) Years of Service Recognition Program Social club, activities during the year Our ESG commitment: Our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) roadmap drives our sustainability mission.
