The Reorg Administrator focuses on accurately reflecting any changes, resulting from corporate actions, in the firm’s resource management software (Dataphile). This individual uses their deep understanding of both corporate action implications, and the software’s capabilities or limitations, to effectively process corporate action events in an accurate and timely manner. Key Responsibilities Administer registered plan products and process a variety of requests, including deregistration’s, unlocking, specialized withdrawals, and other registered plan transactions. Ensure registrations, contributions, and withdrawals are processed accurately and within all applicable regulatory deadlines for RESPs, RSPs, TFSAs, RIFs, FHSAs, and other registered plans. Investigate, respond to, and resolve registered plan inquiries within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines, escalating matters requiring management review or intervention as appropriate. Complete CIRO Registered Plan audits within internal and regulatory deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Collaborate closely with Tax, Estates, Transfers, New Accounts, and Client Account Maintenance teams to coordinate updates and changes to registered plans. Actively participate in Registered Plan Committee meetings and support the implementation of trustee and regulatory changes into internal procedures, processes, and manuals. Ensure procedures and reference materials remain accurate, current, and aligned with applicable regulatory requirements. Stay current with CRA, Revenue Québec (RQ), Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), trustee requirements, and other applicable regulations through ongoing review of legislation, regulatory updates, press releases, and industry bulletins. Requirements Your Experience & Skills Post-secondary education and/or equivalent relevant experience. 2–3 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably within Operations or Registered Plans. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Proactive problem-solving abilities with strong analytical and investigative skills. Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality assurance. Ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively under pressure, and consistently meet tight deadlines. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Dataphile is considered an asset. Fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset.
