About The Position Lawrence Elementary School is seeking a permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) teacher beginning August 26, 2026. This position is an elementary generalist assignment that provides preparation time coverage across multiple classrooms and grade levels. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach while delivering high-quality instruction in a variety of learning environments. The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students and staff and maintain consistent classroom expectations is essential. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of effective elementary instructional practices, including Structured Literacy and trauma-informed approaches, and will create inclusive, engaging learning experiences that respond to the diverse needs of students.
