Living Sky School Division encompasses a wide geographic area including the Battlefords, many communities, villages, First Nation communities, and Hutterite colonies. We are located in the heart of wheat and oil country. Currently, 29 schools are located in 20 communities. Our schools include PreK-12, elementary, high schools, and alternate schools with a population of approximately 5,300 students. Our diverse student population is reflected in a wide variety of programs that exist throughout the schools to meet the guidelines of the Saskatchewan Core Curriculum and the local needs of the community. Our intent is always to produce strong citizens through the excellent and relevant educational experience of our students. Our schools prepare students to be capable and open-minded individuals. Our goal is to graduate well-rounded individuals with a high potential for success and leadership. The teacher will manage a combined Grade 3/4 classroom, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. They are responsible for implementing effective instructional practices and building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

The teacher will deliver instruction for elementary or middle years students based on their strengths and school needs. They are responsible for creating inclusive, relationship-based learning experiences that incorporate First Nations perspectives.

The Educational Assistant will support core subject areas in both small groups and general classroom settings. They are responsible for promoting student engagement, participation, and overall success.

The teacher will create a welcoming and developmentally appropriate learning environment to support the academic, social, emotional, and physical growth of kindergarten students. Responsibilities include fostering a safe classroom culture and collaborating with colleagues and families to move student learning forward.
