About The Opportunity LRO is delighted to be working with a Crown Corporation to facilitate the hire of a Bilingual Manager, Human Resources for a one-year term. Reporting to the Director of HR, this position is focused on leading a team of HR professionals in providing advisory services to managers and employees. The Manager of Human Resources serves as both a leader and a key subject matter expert in all aspects of Human Resources. Duties include but are not limited to: Provide support and guidance to management team on employee engagement, performance management, career development and succession planning Oversees the daily operations of human resources including talent acquisition and retention, labour relations, performance management, compensation and all HR programs Contributes to several HR working groups that ensure compliance and provide guidance to the HR function Provides coaching and mentorship to HR team members Collaborates with the Director of HR on strategic HR initiatives About You The successful candidate will have the following: Post secondary education in Human Resources, Labour/Industrial Relations or related field with an HR designation being considered an asset Five plus years of relevant HR experience including experience in Employee Relations, HR Programs and Performance Management Experience leading HR teams Bilingual French/English Knowledge of federal employment legislation with experience in this work environment considered an asset The ability to hold a federal government security clearance/Secret level About the Job This position is a full time/one year term position offering an annual salary of $135,000 to $150,000 with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a pension. They are conveniently located downtown and offer a hybrid work arrangement that will see most employees in office once or twice weekly with occasional exceptions.
