Job summary
Controller - fully remote We are working with a client to find a Controller to oversee their business in the USA and Canada, working remotely from Vancouver or LA. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, payments, and reconciliations Manage bookkeeping and financial reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and overall financial performance Coordinate with external CPA partners on reporting, compliance, and year-end processes Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to leadership Develop and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial processes Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and profitability Requirements: 5+ years of accounting or financial operations experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred CPA designation is an asset Strong QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software skills Solid knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Salary - 120-150,000 range depending on experience.
