Our New COP Assembler: The ideal candidate would be someone who can perform assembly of elevator car operating panel by referencing related CAD schematics and drawings. What you will do in the role: * Correctly identify components and accurately interpret assembly drawings. * Assemble products within specified period of time. * Utilize manual hand and power tools efficiently. * Effectively inspect assemblies visually and with designated measuring devices * Identify non-conformances. * Complete shop records accurately. * Demonstrate low absenteeism and punctuality. * Communicates well with colleagues and team leader. * Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently. * Detail-oriented and accurate in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. * Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 15%, noise 5%. * Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area. What you will bring to the role: * High School Diploma or equivalent experience * At least 2 years of experience in assembly work * At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience (custom production or electrical) * Read schematics and drawings * Demonstrated dexterity and ability to perform complex assemblies * Medium to highly detail-oriented * Experience with electrical fixtures component manufacturing preferred * Able to lift up to 50lbs (assisted if needed) This position works out of our Mississauga, Ontario location. Hours are typically 4:00pm to 1:00am, and on Fridays 3:00pm to 11:00pm. This is a Full-time, Hourly position. This posting has one (2) vacancies. The assembler will perform the assembly of elevator car operating panels by interpreting CAD schematics and drawings. They are also responsible for inspecting finished assemblies, identifying non-conformances, and maintaining accurate shop records.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least two years of assembly experience, including one year in manufacturing. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and the ability to lift up to 50lbs are required.
