Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist role at Massage Addict Waterdown is a full-time, on-site position located in Waterdown, ON. In this role, the therapist provides high-quality therapeutic massage treatments tailored to client needs, including relaxation, pain reduction, and stress management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client assessments, maintaining accurate treatment records, recommending appropriate treatment plans, and educating clients on ongoing care. The therapist collaborates with clinic staff to ensure smooth appointment flow, supports a welcoming and professional atmosphere, and adheres to all regulatory and clinic standards for safety, hygiene, and client confidentiality. Qualifications Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build professional rapport and provide a positive client experience. Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques and body massage, with a focus on safe, effective treatment outcomes. Experience or training in Shiatsu or similar modalities that complement massage therapy practice. Ability to support clients with stress management through appropriate massage techniques and client education. Current registration and good standing with the appropriate provincial regulatory body (e.g., CMTO or equivalent). Graduation from an accredited massage therapy program and eligibility to practice in Ontario. Commitment to professional ethics, client confidentiality, and ongoing continuing education. Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team and adapt to a steady, fast-paced client schedule.
