ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: McDougall Energy is looking for an experienced G2-OBT2 Service Technician to join our team in Timmins, ON. Reporting to the Operations Manager is an integral member of the Operations team responsible for providing exceptional service with an unwavering focus on safety. Their technical skills will be a crucial part in delivering on our commitment to our customers. Responsibilities include: * Installing propane tanks, propane regulators, and gas piping * Completing regulatory inspections Oil “comprehensive” / Propane “gas check” / Commercial Fuel “PFO Inspection” * Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with contractors * Identifying deficiencies and follow-up with customers/contractors to resolve * Maintaining propane tanks; purging, re-valve, reconditioning * Completing other duties as required, including warehousing and scheduling * Adhering to all safety policies and procedures ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate will have: * G2/G3 - Gas Technician * OBT2/OBT3 – Oil Burner Technician * 1 to 5 years of relevant HVAC experience * PM3, LP, licenses considered an asset * Boom truck, fork-truck and power lift gate working experience considered an asset * Valid Driver’s Licenses – DZ considered an asset * Strong problem solving and customer service skills * Solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to effectively plan service routes and optimize efficiencies WHAT WE OFFER: We offer career growth and development through on-the-job training, professional courses, and peer learning in a friendly and inclusive work environment that allows you to thrive both personally and professionally.
