Hiring Unit: Department of Biochemistry Course Title: Biochemistry of Immune Diseases Course Code: BIOC 503 Estimated Number of Positions: 1 Total Hours of Work per Term: 60 Name of the Course Coordinator: Prof. Maxime Denis Position Summary: IMPORTANT: To be eligible for an appointment as a Teaching Assistant for Winter 2027 term, applicants must be enrolled in a McGill graduate program in Winter 2027 term. Attend all seminars and evaluate students' presentations (Class time = Mon & Wed, 4:30 - 6:00 PM). Compile attendance and grades and provide feedback on student’s presentations. Answer students' questions via email or MyCourses; flexible worktime. Mark the Final and answer students’ questions on the grading. Qualifications: Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program within the Department of Biochemistry, or in another graduate program at McGill University (i.e.: MIMM or EXMD graduate program), for the Winter 2027 term. Excellent knowledge of Immunology (IHI or MIMM graduates is an asset). Effective communication skills in English are essential. French is an asset. Instructions to the Candidate: Make sure you apply as an external candidate. Updated CV including any previous TA experience in the Department of Biochemistry or within McGill University.
