This job is for a current vacancy. The Opportunity: The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a skilled massage therapist to join our high-performing and fast-growing team of practitioners within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service. This is an Independent Contractor position for shifts at our Kingsway Clinic ( East Tower, 3250 Bloor St W 10th Floor) on Friday and Saturday. The specific schedule/hours will be mutually determined and has some flexibility. ​ What You’ll Do: The provision of clinical massage therapy services Maintain complete and detailed clinical documentation and records Practice effective and timely inter-professional communication Ensure the highest quality of patient management and care Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, chiropodists and other massage therapists What You’ll Need: Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Massage Therapist Must be in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario Must have appropriate professional liability insurance Must possess competency in multiple massage techniques; including but not limited to, Swedish massage, facial therapy, and trigger point therapy. Position Pay Range $45 - $65/hr Medcan's Allied Health professionals are independent contractors. Remuneration for this role will be dependent on number of days worked, patient volume and level of candidate's experience and qualification.
