Job Description Midland Transport is currently seeking a professional Class 1 Linehaul Shunt Driver based out of Moncton Terminal, NB. The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic and great and positive attitude with a commitment to provide a Superior Quality Service. Main Role: The driver will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely movement of equipment and freight. Responsibilities include a combination of regional driving throughout the Maritimes and shunting operations at the Tissue Plant, Master Packaging, and Midland yards, based on operational needs. This role requires strong time management skills and a strong commitment to safety. Shift Options: 4 days on, 4 days off | 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM 4 days on, 4 days off | 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM What We Offer: Pay rate - $26 per hr. Move equipment and freight in a safe, accurate, and timely manner while meeting operational requirements. Complete all required pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections in accordance with legal and company requirements. Refuel refrigerated units as required. Maintain company equipment in accordance with established standards. Communicate effectively with the Supervisor and dispatch team. Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or equipment damage immediately. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Qualifications Education Required: High School or GED. Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years’ safe tractor driving experience required. Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search. Good communication skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment. Excellent work ethic and reliability. Safety conscious. About Us Founded in 1882, J.D. Requirements

They must communicate well, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds using proper equipment, and demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and safety awareness.
