OT Cybersecurity Consultant - Junior to Mid-Level Two contract opportunities | Remote in Canada | Atlantic time zone Millenilink is hiring two (2) OT Cybersecurity Consultants to support a large-scale cyber-transformation program in the power and utilities sector. These roles are a good fit for hands-on, curious professionals who understand operational technology environments and want to apply that experience to meaningful cybersecurity work. You’ll contribute to OT architecture and planning activities, help create architecture diagrams, and work with a broader team to address cybersecurity challenges across IT and operational technology environments. What you’ll do Support OT cybersecurity transformation and architecture work. Create and contribute to architecture diagrams and other project deliverables. Participate in client workshops and collaborate with cybersecurity and technology specialists. Apply an understanding of operational environments to help shape practical solutions. Communicate technical ideas clearly and develop your consulting and presentation skills. Develop your consulting skills, including presenting to customers and explaining technical recommendations in a clear, engaging way. Learn to use storytelling to connect your hands-on experience to customer challenges and help customer leaders understand the value of proposed solutions What we’re looking for 1–3 years of relevant experience in engineering, technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. 1-3 years’ experience with Operational Technology (OT), process control, SCADA, or industrial systems: ICS, Power (NERC) electrical sites, production factories and more Experience or the willingness to learn to work in advisory capacity on OT Cybersecurity matters where you not only do the hands-on work but also create PowerPoints, and present finding back to the customer in a “storytelling” manner that helps them make decisions on how to improve An engineering background, particularly electrical engineering or experience in energy, industrial, or operational environments is a strong asset. A hands-on, delivery-focused approach and willingness to work through technical problems. Strong communication skills and an interest in working with clients and presenting solutions. Ability to work within the client’s Atlantic time zone. Willingness to travel occasionally as project needs require.
