The Rotational Operations Pharmacist is a key member of the Operations Team responsible for providing relief to pharmacy sites requiring a pharmacist due to absences and supporting process improvement initiatives. This role ensures uninterrupted pharmacy operations, enhancing operational efficiency, and sustaining a competitive advantage. Benefits Health and dental benefits Health spending account Paid vacation RRSP matching Key Responsibilities Provide relief coverage across assigned regions Advise patients on prescription medication usage Monitor patient medication profiles Create and maintain accurate records Assist in training and developing site staff Ensure compliance with applicable legislation Communicate with site manager Stock of pharmaceutical supplies Source contractors for operational needs Collaborate on process improvement initiatives Conduct informal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards Report operational concerns to the Operations Manager and Director of Operations Submit reports on audits, process improvements, and KPIs Support HR in sourcing, selecting, and onboarding pharmacists Education & Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree ACP license in good standing APA required ISTM preferred Authorization to Administer Drugs by Injection preferred Valid class 5 driver's license Experience & Skills Minimum 3 years of experience within retail pharmacy is preferred Minimum 3 years of experience of leadership experience is preferred Strong organizational and operational oversight skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in managing pharmacy inventory and financials Knowledge of Dayforce system is an asset Ability to implement and adhere to regulatory compliance Experience in pharmacy management and leadership is an asset High attention to detail and good judgment Ability to travel regionally We are excited to grow our team and look forward to welcoming dedicated professionals who share our vision and commitment to excellence. Requirements
