About
I have been practicing as a neurologist for 20 years, with more than 10 years of specialized experience in Movement Disorders. Throughout my career, I have cared for thousands of patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. I have also been responsible for the programming and clinical management of hundreds of patients treated with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), including patients with Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, tremor, and tics. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I have extensive experience in medical education. I have been involved in teaching neurology residents for many years and, more recently, have had responsibility for training Movement Disorders fellows. I am particularly interested in clinical teaching and bedside education. I also have a strong background in clinical research in the field of Movement Disorders, with experience in conducting and contributing to research projects and scientific publications. Overall, my career has provided me with extensive clinical, educational, and research experience in Movement Disorders, with a particular focus on Parkinson’s disease and DBS.
