The Environmental Services Division of the Municipal Group of Companies is seeking a customer service-oriented, data driven professional to join our growing team in the role of Inside Sales Representative. Position Summary The Regional Inside Sales & Sales Support Representative is responsible for supporting Outside Sales Representatives across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick by providing best-in-class sales support, pricing administration, proposal development, CRM management, lead qualification, and customer issue resolution. This role serves as a key link between Sales, Operations, and Finance, ensuring opportunities are progressed efficiently, customers receive responsive support, and commercial processes are executed with accuracy and consistency. The successful candidate will play an important role in improving sales productivity, protecting profitability, and supporting regional growth. Key Responsibilities Sales Support & Administration Prepare and coordinate quotations, proposals, contract renewals, and supporting sales documentation. Support Outside Sales Representatives with day-to-day sales activities and account management initiatives. Monitor open proposals, RFQs, and sales opportunities to ensure timely follow-up and execution. Assist with tender submissions, special projects, and event opportunities. Pricing & Profitability Management Review pricing requests and proposals using established profitability guidelines. Ensure pricing accuracy and consistency across the region. Support account reviews and contract renewal strategies. Identify opportunities to improve margin performance and commercial effectiveness. CRM & Pipeline Management Maintain CRM accuracy and data integrity. Track opportunities, customer activity, proposals, and key sales metrics. Support pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting activities. Provide sales leadership with accurate and timely commercial data. Customer & Operational Support Coordinate the resolution of customer service, operational, and billing-related issues. Work closely with Operations and Finance to ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly. Serve as a central point of coordination to support a seamless customer experience. Lead Management & Business Development Support Qualify inbound leads and route opportunities to the appropriate Outside Sales Representative. Monitor regional tenders, development activity, and market opportunities. Support regional growth initiatives through proactive opportunity tracking and lead generation activities. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, account management, or a related commercial role. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft 365 applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Experience in environmental services, waste management, transportation, logistics, construction, or industrial services is considered an asset.
