Job description Musashi Auto Parts Canada Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Lab Associate (entry-level) to work in the lab verifying the dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments. The Quality Control Lab Associate maintains customer and supplier relations. They investigate and support Team Leaders in assigned production areas to troubleshoot quality issues. Coordinate with other departments when manufacturing new parts. Shift Continental (2 weeks Days, 2 weeks Nights - 12 hours) Qualifications: 2+ years’ experience in automotive quality control environment. Knowledge of quality core tools (AIAG SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, FMEA) Familiarity with root cause methodology. (ie. 5P or 8D) Job Responsibilities: Troubleshooting Blueprint reading Complete trouble reports/5Ps, (corrective action reports) Perform daily reject analysis Maintain and ensure compliance with MAP-C quality system/TS 16949 Verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments/receiving inspections Train all Musashi employees in quality issues Perform QAVs (Quality Assurance Visits/Supplier Audits) Perform related duties as required Personal Skills Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and time management skills. Good work ethic. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
