We are seeking an experienced Pega Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable enterprise Pega solutions for complex banking programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on Pega expertise, strong banking and AML/KYC domain knowledge, and the ability to establish reusable architecture patterns and technical standards across onsite, nearshore, and offshore delivery teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 12+ years of overall IT experience, including 8–10 years of hands-on Pega PRPC experience. Strong experience with Pega 8.x and Pega Infinity 23.x or later. Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) on Pega 8.x or above – Mandatory. 8+ years of Banking/Financial Services experience. 3+ years of AML/KYC experience. Must-Have Technical Skills Strong architecture and hands-on design expertise across the Pega Platform, Case Management, application layers, data models, security, and integrations. Strong knowledge of Pega UI frameworks, including Cosmos and Constellation. Experience or strong knowledge of Pega Customer Service, Smart Dispute, and Smart Investigate frameworks. Ability to design reusable enterprise components, scalable architecture patterns, and application structures. Strong understanding of Pega Guardrails, performance optimization, maintainability, coding standards, and design best practices. Experience working with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Working knowledge of Jira. Key Responsibilities Own technical architecture and solution design across analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and production readiness. Translate business and functional requirements into secure, scalable, reusable, and supportable Pega solutions. Define architecture patterns, application structures, integration approaches, and reusable enterprise components. Drive Pega design and coding best practices through design reviews, code reviews, technical governance, and Guardrail compliance. Provide technical direction and mentorship to Pega development teams across onsite, nearshore, and offshore locations. Identify technical risks, dependencies, performance concerns, and recommend effective mitigation strategies. Support troubleshooting, defect resolution, release planning, deployment validation, and post-production stabilization. Collaborate with business architects, product owners, system architects, security teams, and other enterprise stakeholders. Promote engineering discipline and consistent delivery quality across distributed teams. Managerial & Collaboration Skills Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to developers, IT leadership, and business stakeholders. Ability to work independently while providing strong technical leadership within a collaborative environment. Proven ability to mentor development teams and drive technical excellence. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Skills & Certifications Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) – Mandatory Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PSSA) Pega Certified Lead System Architect (PLSA) Exposure to Pega BIX, Pega Survey, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Experience with enterprise banking transformation programs is a plus.

Candidates must also have 8+ years in banking or financial services, 3+ years in AML/KYC, strong Pega platform and integration expertise, and experience with delivery methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
