RESPONSIBILITIES: * Preparation of raw materials including chopping. * Completion of pre-assembly work is not limited to stock assembly lines, set up belts, cut open boxes. * Application of labels, collection of materials, assembling materials into packages/product cartons. * Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs). * Ensure that the plant cleanliness is maintained throughout the day. * Wrapping skids up to 7ft high. * Operate pallet jack to move skids. * Assemble/Disassemble equipment as required. * Cleaning scales (requires bending/strenuous work). * Sanitation of equipment and work area as assigned. * Other tasks as assigned by Operations Manager and/or Production Supervisor. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Must be reliable and punctual. * Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. * Ability to work well in a team environment. * Highly flexible and ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision. * Strong work ethic with a high regard for accuracy and quality. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * First Aid, Forklift and/or Food Safety certifications are an asset. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: * Must be able to work Friday-Sunday, 4pm-4am. * This position requires successful completion of a clear background check.. * Steel Toed Safety Shoes are required, Personal Protective Equipment will be provided onsite. * Starting wage is $20.38.
