QUALIFICATIONS: Medical degree Must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba Must provide proof of CMPA coverage prior to starting practice Must hold or be eligible for CCFP Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified or eligible COMPENSATION: Fee-for-service for all medical services (clinic and hospital as applicable) based on agreements between Doctors Manitoba and MHHLS Competitive rate of overhead charged DESCRIPTION: Neighbourly Pharmacy operates integrated health clinics, using pharmacies as the nucleus for expanded practices. We are seeking a full-time family physician for the family medical/walk-in clinics run out of pharmacy locations in Gimli, Manitoba. The physician will hold a core practice of clinic, acute-care and longer-term care. Services are provided in English. These clinics provide walk-in and by-appointment medical services to the community of Gimli. The physician will perform all duties associated with a busy family practice, including coordinating primary patient care, examining and advising patients, ordering diagnostic procedures, prescribing and administering medications and treatments. The chosen candidates agree to establish a medical practice in Gimli, MB and to provide medical services as referenced above for a minimum period of five years. BENEFITS: Responsible for arranging own benefits, if desired.

The physician will manage a busy family practice providing walk-in and by-appointment medical services. Responsibilities include coordinating primary care, ordering diagnostics, and administering treatments in clinic and hospital settings.

Candidates must hold a medical degree and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Certification in ACLS and CCFP eligibility are required, along with proof of CMPA coverage.
