The Blaster is responsible for executing high-quality blast patterns in a safe and productive manner within open-pit and quarry areas. They work closely with engineers and operators to manage priming, loading, and firing tasks while ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality control procedures. Candidates must possess a valid Blast Ticket #2 or better and have at least one year of open-pit blasting experience. Additionally, applicants should have at least two years of experience in an open-pit mine environment and be physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
