Job Summary Repair technicians are responsible for providing repairs, complete tuning and safety inspections of guests, staff and rental ski & snowboard equipment. This requires competency using both hand and mechanical tools to perform the necessary maintenance and safety checks. This role involves interacting with guests and providing them with exceptional service whilst providing them with a efficient and safe product. Essential Job Functions •Perform repairs and maintenance to skis and boards using hand tools and machines to provide the best possible finish product. •Mount bindings on skis and boards. •Test binding release and record. •Provide information to guests on services available with the best solutions. •Maintain the facility in a clean and safe manner. •Perform regular maintenance on the machinery and tools. Required Qualifications and Abilities • Must be eligible to work in Canada – can provide work permit •Experience in ski and board repair operations. Experience with Wintersteiger equipment is considered a strong asset but not a requirement. •Competent Skier or Snowboarder • Able to lift 50lbs and carry out physical tasks •Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills •Work both in a team and independently. •Manage priorities. • Anticipate business levels and manage accordingly.
