Senior Accountant – NORTHWAY PHARMACY Be part of the team behind a growing Manitoba healthcare organization. Northway Pharmacy is a growing group of 16 pharmacy and 5 medical clinic locations, supported by a centralized multidisciplinary team. As our organization continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and play an important role in keeping our financial operations accurate, efficient, and moving forward. Reporting to the Accounting & Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of key areas of our full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes. This is an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, improving processes, and being part of a team where your work has a direct impact on the organization. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives, working alongside our Finance leadership team to help Northway grow. What You’ll Do Prepare accurate in-house financial statements and supporting accounting activities, including journal entries, payables, reconciliations, and account maintenance Manage bank, sales, credit card, account, and supplier reconciliations Complete required CRA reporting, tax instalments, and GST/PST remittances Prepare and analyze monthly budgets, reports, and forecasts Monitor cash flow and support the financial health of the organization Lead the year-end review process with external accountants Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and efficiencies Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives Provide accounting and financial support to the Accounting & Finance Manager and CFO as required What You Bring Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with strong full-cycle accounting knowledge Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field Proficiency with Sage 50 Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Lookups, and working with large datasets Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Professional, self-motivated, and able to work independently Positive, collaborative approach and strong attention to detail Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a growing organization Fluency in English, both written and verbal Why Join Northway Pharmacy? Requirements

Candidates should be proficient in Sage 50 and advanced Excel, with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
