CCRCE International Student Program Homestay Coordinator Contract Position Competition #26-05-02 Location: Oxford The Chignecto-Central International Student Program requires a Homestay Coordinator for Oxford and surrounding area. The Homestay Coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment and monitoring of homestays in their respective area, as well as the supervision of the international students. Qualifications: Relevant education and at least two years experience in the field of education, social work, or the social sciences. Experience in programming for youth aged 8-18 years. Ability to travel and work flexible hours. Must have own car and valid driver’s license. High degree of written, verbal and administrative ability. Must be able to work within tight timelines. Must be computer literate. Must demonstrate sensitivity for the requirements of international students: language difficulties, culture shock and community/school adjustment. International experiences an asset. This position is a contract position, with hours assessed on an “as needed” basis. Remuneration amount is 100.00 per student per month.
