Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Building Security to ensure the safety and security of our premises for the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will monitor building entrances, conduct regular patrols, enforce access control policies, and respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies. Strong attention to detail, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and excellent communication skills are essential. Plus other duties as assigned. This role pays an hourly rate of $24.00 CAD Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching This position will remain open until December 18, 2026. About The Venue TD Coliseum will be the centerpiece of a premier music, sports, and live entertainment destination in Southwestern Ontario, delivering a premium event and hospitality experience for all. The reimagined arena will have exceptional features that will provide countless memories for attendees. Responsibilities Monitor and control access to the facility from the Building Security Office. Perform regular roaming patrols to ensure security of the facility. Knowledge of building lock-up procedures and alarm systems. Clerical duties including log entries, staff sign-in/out, key control, and report writing. Assist with any building-related emergency Shipping/receiving of mail and deliveries. Communicates maintenance, cleaning problems, and building concerns. Understand and carry out posted orders for each building. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess a current Security Guard License as mandated by the Province of Ontario (O. Reg 435/07). Must have valid Standard First Aid and CPR certificates. Must be mature, reliable, and tactful and have experience working with the public. Strong and effective communication skills. Must be available to work all overnight shifts as scheduled. Computer proficiency is required. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Strengthened by our Differences.
