Role Description This full-time, on-site Concessions and Culinary role is based in Calgary, AB. The role involves preparing and serving food and beverages at concession stands, ensuring consistent product quality and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include setting up and stocking concession areas, operating point-of-sale systems, handling cash and card transactions accurately, and maintaining clean, organized workstations. The role also includes providing courteous, efficient customer service, communicating clearly with guests and team members, and supporting inventory control by monitoring product levels and reducing waste. Team members may assist with basic food preparation, restocking during events, and closing procedures, while collaborating closely with culinary leadership to deliver a high-standard guest experience at all events. Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage guests, resolve issues, and work effectively with team members. Experience in Concessions and Sales, including operating POS systems, handling transactions, and promoting menu items. Basic understanding of Budgeting or cost awareness, such as managing portion control, minimizing waste, and supporting revenue goals. Knowledge of food safety practices, hygiene standards, and safe food handling procedures. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced event environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Proven reliability, attention to detail, and ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical tasks. Prior experience in hospitality, stadium or arena concessions, or culinary operations is an asset. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional culinary or hospitality training is beneficial.
