Position Summary The Housekeeper will ensure a clean, organized, and attractive facility while maintaining a high degree of quality guest care. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with minimal supervision, perform duties in a safe manner, and consistently demonstrate efficient, effective use of time and resources. Must have proven job reliability and customer service skills; no housekeeping experience necessary. This position can be physically demanding, and evening and weekend shifts will be required. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.25-$22.00 CAD. Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching. This position will remain open until November 13, 2026. About The Venue The Ovintiv Events Centre, operated by Oak View Group, is the premier event facility providing a wide range of sports and entertainment opportunities for the Alberta and British Columbia Peace Region. Responsibilities Responsible for day-to-day building cleanliness, planning, coordinating, and executing as well as doing the same on event or game days. Touring the facility to ensure total cleanliness. Maintain clean housekeeping equipment and work areas, as well as perform inspections as needed. Seasonal maintenance projects as required. Assist the Operations Supervisor with additional projects as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. Post-secondary level education is an added asset. Will consider experience in lieu of education. Excellent communication skills. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a current CPR certificate. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an RSA Certificate. Working knowledge of the proper use of cleaning supplies and materials. Familiar with terminology used in entertainment and convention settings. Strengthened by our Differences.
