We have restaurants, food halls, and catering teams in Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec Job Description The Catering Driver/Porter supports the Catering logistics team in running successful catering orders and events within and around the GTA. The Catering Driver/Porter supports and carries out event set up, transporting equipment, food, or other supplies to the event location, assisting with service during the event, and breaking down/ cleaning up after the end of an event. The day to day: Communicate with the Expeditor regarding delivery details Transport and deliver catering food and beverage with all vital supplies and equipment Safely deliver products via foot and/or vehicle while meeting deadlines Practice road rules and follow driving routes in the company vehicle using your extensive knowledge of Toronto streets Assist with general day-to-day tasks as needed including the packing of offsite catering equipment/food/beverage for upcoming events Assist in inventory of catering equipment and storage facilities Assist in the set up of chairs, tables, food stations, buffet lines and other event equipment, including rentals as requested by the Front of House Manager/Chef and Banquet Event Order Follow Health & Safety regulations Additional duties as assigned or required Qualifications Valid G Drivers License Must provide clean drivers abstract/record Catering experience preferred Customer service experience – interacting with clients and vendor Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to lift 20kg with ease Can work calmly and effectively under pressure Must be available to work event-based hours, this includes early mornings and late nights!
