Job Description Confidently answer guest questions regarding food, beverages, wine, and other restaurant services as required Communicate effectively with Servers and Hosts to support optimal seating flow and service efficiency Inspect all tables to ensure proper mise en place, cleanliness, and completeness prior to and during service Maintain a high level of floor awareness, assisting with clearing and resetting tables as needed Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure standards are consistently upheld Oversee the cleanliness of assigned sections, ensuring all materials and service areas are organized and free from clutter Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food safety practices, including causes of food contamination and methods of prevention Adhere to all food safety standards, policies, and procedures at all times Manage cleanliness tasks including emptying garbage, changing linen bags, and properly disposing of waste and recycling Communicate guest feedback, requests, or notable information to Servers to support a positive and memorable guest experience Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall restaurant operations Qualifications Previous serving or foodservice experience in a similar environment Smart Serve Certification required Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Receptive to direction and able to follow procedures consistently Strong oral communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Solid knowledge of food and beverage products to support service excellence Ability to maintain professional urgency and momentum throughout shifts Reliable transportation Legally eligible to work in Canada Additional Information AI Disclosure To ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process, some aspects of candidate screening may be conducted using AI software.
