The Company The Olympic Building Centre, Winnipeg’s award-winning building materials supplier, is currently seeking a highly organized individual to join our fast paced, award-winning operations team. The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, working mainly outdoors, this position will ensure customer orders are loaded and will assist the customer with any needs until they leave the yard. Responsibilities * Always greet and assist customers and staff in a friendly and professional manner * Guide customers around the yard and load and /or assist them in loading their order * Answer simple questions or forward them to the appropriate person for resolution * Secure customer signatures for orders and distribute paperwork * Ensure yard is kept in a safe, clean and orderly fashion always * Assist drivers, Warehouse person and/or forklift drivers as necessary * Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing product * Follow the Check 5 quality program to maintain customer service goals. Qualifications * Friendly, courteous, customer service oriented * Attention to detail, motivated, goal oriented * Ability to prioritize workload, completes tasks within a given timeline * Works well in a team atmosphere * Knowledge of building materials/products considered an asset * Demonstrate pride of self, appearance, and pride in work quality * Forklift experience an asset * Knowledge of lumber and or building supplies would be an asset We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental coverage, a company pension plan, and paid time off. Requirements
