Partnering with regional rewards leaders across 40+ countries, this role ensures programs are competitive, compliant, financially sustainable, and aligned with our business strategy and commitment to employee well-being. Reporting within the Total Rewards function, this leader will also oversee the Americas Benefits team and drive key initiatives including M&A due diligence and integration, benefits modernization, and employee experience enhancements. What You'll Do Develop and execute OpenText's global benefits and retirement strategy. Lead the Americas Benefits team, including oversight of U.S. health and welfare programs and retirement plans. Drive the evolution of health, wellness, retirement, leave, and financial well-being programs globally. Partner with senior leaders across HR, Finance, Legal, Risk, Procurement, and Payroll to balance employee value with financial stewardship. Provide governance and oversight for compliance, risk management, vendor partnerships, and program effectiveness. Lead benefits planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business case development. Support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational transformation. Foster a high-performing team culture focused on innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. What You'll Bring 12+ years of experience in benefits, total rewards, or a related HR discipline. 5+ years leading global benefits programs and teams in a multinational organization. Deep expertise in U.S. health and welfare plans, self-insured programs, and retirement plan governance. Experience with M&A due diligence, integration, and organizational transformation. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Knowledge of benefits governance, compliance, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions. Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive strategic decisions in a complex, matrixed environment. Willingness to work in-office 5 days/week. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a global technology or enterprise software workforce. Knowledge of global benefits trends and best practices. Experience with benefits technology, HRIS platforms, and data analytics. Professional certifications such as CEBS, CCP, CBP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR.
