As the Litigation Law Clerk, you will work closely with lawyers to support files throughout various stages of commercial litigation and construction processes. You will assist with document preparation, file coordination, and procedural requirements while ensuring matters remain organized and deadlines are met. Provide ongoing support across a variety of litigation files from initial stages through resolution. Draft, review, and organize legal documents, correspondence, and supporting materials. Assist with document collection, review, production, and other discovery-related activities. Coordinate materials and documentation required for court proceedings and other key stages of litigation. Monitor important dates, procedural requirements, and file deadlines to ensure matters progress efficiently. Maintain well-organized electronic files and ensure matter information and documentation remain accurate and current. Assist lawyers with the coordination and preparation of complex files and ongoing case requirements. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding file-related matters as required. Help manage competing priorities and high volumes of documentation in a deadline-driven environment. What you bring to the job You are an experienced Litigation Law Clerk with strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. You are comfortable working independently, managing deadlines, and collaborating with others in a fast-paced legal environment. 4–8 years of experience within a law firm environment, preferably supporting litigation matters Law Clerk Diploma, Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario Certificate, or equivalent qualification Strong understanding of Ontario litigation procedures and the Rules of Civil Procedure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to manage multiple files, priorities, and deadlines effectively Comfortable taking direction while also working independently Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with legal document and file-management technology is an asset Strong work ethic with an interest in continued learning and professional development Qualified job seekers are asked to apply.
