This is an Hourly position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The PCT/CNA-Float provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs. This position requires floating to various departments within the medical center. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Experience 6 months experience in a clinical healthcare environment 6 months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employerv

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) certification and American Heart Association BLS CPR certification. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with six months of experience in a clinical healthcare environment.
