The steward will attend to customer needs, assist wait staff, ensure all stations are well stocked, and assist in keeping all areas clean and sanitary. You will clean and put away dishes, clean floors and food preparation areas, refill supplies, wipe tables, and take out the trash. Some of the responsibilities include: Ensuring cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hotel's food and beverage operations. Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Assisting in food preparation and plating as needed. Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials. Operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment. Assisting with the receiving and storage of food and beverage supplies. Cleaning and maintaining dining areas, kitchen surfaces, and equipment. Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Assisting kitchen staff with various tasks as required. Providing excellent customer service to guests and colleagues. Following instructions from supervisors and managers to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen and dining areas.
