Job summary

We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join our TeksMed team in Chilliwack. The Administrative Coordinator reports directly to the Team Leader, Administration. Their daily responsibilities include general data entry and general administrative duties. These include processing the incoming mail, handling medical documents, processing purchase orders, contacting medical clinics, running reports, scanning, word-processing, data entry and maintaining files. The Administrative Coordinator will: Correspond with Compensation Boards across Canada Generate reports from Claims Management System (CMS) Analyze information received from clients and taking appropriate action Complete general administrative, data entry, and office duties Follow up with clients via phone/email for necessary information pertaining to worker claims and recording detailed interactions within our CMS Process and enter mail into our CMS Be liaising with medical clinics and doctors' offices to obtain outstanding the respective timeframes To be successful as an Administrative Coordinator, you will need: Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and dispute-resolution techniques Ability to work independently or as a part of a team in a high energy, busy environment Excellent time and priority management skills Organizational skills with high attention to detail Strong critical thinking and problem – solving skills TeksMed is Canada’s leading disability management and occupational injury claims management firm.
