We are hiring a Receptionist to join our Union Power team in Hamilton, ON. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being the go-to person in a busy office environment. The Receptionist will: Greet clients in a professional and friendly manner over the telephone, as well as in person Answer phone calls for both Union Power and FirstOntario Insurance, taking basic information to triage who the caller should be directed to Clear and distribute voicemails that are left on main reception telephone Distribute emails that come to Union Power & FirstOntario main inbox Set-up client base in broker management system for new prospects looking for a quote Keep a tally to evenly distribute sales and service requests to our brokers Process credit card payments, and issue receipts for payments made by cheque Completing monthly inventory of office supplies, and placing order for items needed To be successful as a Receptionist with Union Power Insurance Brokers, you will need: 2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a variety of administrative tasks efficiently. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client inquiries, messages, and documentation. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a busy, client-focused environment. Reliability and punctuality, ensuring consistent front desk coverage. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
