Role Description The Redi Mix Driver role is a full-time, on-site position based in Scarborough, ON. The driver is responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to various job sites, following all traffic laws and company safety procedures. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting the truck and equipment before and after trips, loading and unloading concrete, adjusting slump as required, and maintaining accurate delivery records. The role also involves communicating with dispatch, site supervisors, and customers to coordinate deliveries and ensure concrete is placed as specified. The driver is expected to keep the vehicle clean, report any mechanical issues promptly, and represent the company professionally at all customer locations. Qualifications Strong truck driving skills with experience operating commercial vehicles and maneuvering in tight job sites. Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent commercial driver’s license) with a clean driving record. Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with dispatch, site personnel, and customers. Ability to handle and manage the truck and related equipment safely, including basic mechanical awareness. Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices. Ability to lift and move equipment as needed and work in outdoor, construction-site environments. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions and company procedures. Previous experience in ready-mix, construction, or related industries is an asset.
