As an experienced Superintendent working in the Building Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support new and ongoing project growth, challenging industry standards with your trade-driven expertise and knowledge. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will work closely with the project management team, various client groups and subtrades to ensure project excellence through your outstanding leadership, keen eye for detail and commitment to quality, and health and safety. What You Will Do Become the safety champion for all job sites. Leading by example in Health & Safety and Environmental Protection, ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations. Proactively manage project materials to meet our first-class Quality Program. Your attention to detail ensures excellence. Walk the talk! Mentor and guide our on-site teams, fostering an environment of collaboration, excellence, and success. Collaborate with trade partners and consultants to drive the construction schedule, ensuring all milestones and completion target dates are met. Recommend creative methods to boost efficiency and project excellence. Collaborate with the Project Manager’s during site start-up, effectively supporting and acting as a role model in client coordination meetings. Keep our workforce up to date. Actively receiving materials and ensuring adherence to all building codes. Maintain updated and accurate records and inventory for all projects, our logistics team relies on your precision! This Role Could Be For You If You Have Over 5+ years of expertise in construction. A construction related certificate, diploma/degree, or strong relevant experience where your qualifications are the blueprint for your success. A legendary track record for project success and a knack for promoting team collaboration. Proven experience managing safety regulations, project scheduling, quality and cost control. You see roadblocks as opportunities, thriving on the ability to implement creative solutions. A knack for working with computers and scheduling software.
