OKTA Administrator: On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for an OKTA Administrator for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office. OKTA Administrator - Job Description: Our client’s Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is seeking an experienced IAM Okta Administrator to provide coverage for an Okta Administrator on extended leave. The successful candidate will support the enterprise Okta platform, focusing on day-to-day operations, incident resolution, project delivery, application onboarding, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations. OKTA Administrator - Responsibilities: Administer and support the enterprise Okta environment. Support Okta Universal Directory, Lifecycle Management, Workflows, MFA, and access policies. Design, implement, and troubleshoot SSO integrations and federation services. Support application onboarding, IAM projects, and cybersecurity initiatives. Resolve complex authentication, access, and integration issues. Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, and lifecycle activities. Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials. Work closely with application teams, vendors, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams. OKTA Administrator - Mandatory Skills: 5+ years of IAM experience. 4+ years of hands-on Okta administration experience in large enterprise environments. Advanced knowledge of Okta Identity Cloud, Okta FastPass, Okta Workflows, MFA, and Passwordless Authentication. Experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SCIM. Proficiency in User Lifecycle Management and Federation and Authentication Troubleshooting. Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID Integrations. Proficiency in REST APIs, PowerShell, and Automation. OKTA Administrator – Nice-to-Have Skills: Okta Certified Professional. Okta Certified Administrator. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach. OKTA Administrator – Assignment Length: This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension. OKTA Administrator - Start Date: ASAP. OKTA Administrator - Assignment Location: Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office.
