Strategic Sourcing Manager: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Strategic Sourcing Manager for a Full-Time/Contract-to-hire role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. Strategic Sourcing Manager - Job Description: Join a team that's shaping the future of sourcing for our client. This role is a unique opportunity to work with the Procurement team and broader clients enterprise, helping drive innovative sourcing strategies that deliver value, reduce risk, and support our purpose-driven culture. Strategic Sourcing Manager - Responsibilities: • Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, primarily within People & Culture. • Influence and negotiate to achieve business and cost management objectives. • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including competitive events (RFI/RFP), supplier selection, and contract negotiations. • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. • Conduct analysis to inform strategic recommendations and develop business cases. • Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, resolving conflicting priorities. • Stay current on leading procurement practices and sourcing methodologies. Strategic Sourcing Manager - Mandatory Skills: • 5-8 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract negotiations. • Strong knowledge of sourcing/procurement processes and controls. • Skilled in contract negotiation, business analysis, and project delivery. • Strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills. • Comfortable making data-driven decisions and synthesizing insights from research. • Proficient in Excel and data analysis. • Experience in a large complex organization and regulatory environment. Strategic Sourcing Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Banking/financial institution background strongly preferred. • Excellent contract knowledge and ability to influence offers for desired results. • Aptitude for working with senior stakeholders. Strategic Sourcing Manager - Start Date: ASAP. Strategic Sourcing Manager - Assignment Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 2-4 days in the office required.

Requirements
