Purpose-led work you'll be part of As a PwC Private Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex issues from strategy to execution. Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required Contribute technical knowledge in the area of specialism Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct Experience and skills you'll use to solve Experience in cross border Canadian and US individual tax including but not limited to advising US beneficiaries of foreign trusts and US owners of foreign corporations. Minimum 5 years experience delivering U.S. tax consulting and compliance services CPA, CA, EA or other relevant professional designation Master Degree in Tax or Completion of Levels I, II and III of the CPA In-depth Tax Course is an asset Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills Superior problem solving skills, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Strong analytical capability, sound business sense and creative mind that have earned you a reputation of providing excellence in client service Ability to manage, develop, retain and mentor junior tax professionals A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard This newly created role reflects our commitment to growth and delivering distinctive value for our clients and stakeholders. The salary range for this position is $118,600 - $197,600. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. Requirements
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in U.S. tax consulting and compliance, specifically regarding cross-border Canadian and U.S. individual tax. A professional designation such as CPA, CA, or EA is required, along with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
