Job summary
My client is seeking a Jira & Confluence Administrator to own and continuously improve its enterprise collaboration and documentation platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring systems such as Jira, Confluence, document management, and contract lifecycle platforms are secure, scalable, well-governed, and aligned with business processes to enable efficient collaboration across the organisation. Responsibilities Own the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimisation of collaboration and documentation platforms, including Jira, Confluence, and document management systems. Design and maintain scalable workflows, schemas, and system configurations that support cross-functional business processes. Establish and enforce governance standards, ensuring platforms remain organised, auditable, and easy to maintain. Manage user access, permissions, and security models while enabling effective collaboration. Maintain documentation structures, taxonomy, metadata, repositories, and lifecycle management to support operational and compliance requirements. Drive continuous improvements to collaboration tools, processes, and platform adoption. Requirements 5+ years' experience administering SaaS collaboration or documentation platforms. Strong experience with Atlassian (Jira & Confluence), SharePoint, and electronic signature/document management platforms such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign. Proven experience designing and maintaining Jira workflows and approval processes. Strong knowledge of permissions, security, and governance within enterprise collaboration platforms. Profile Experience managing enterprise-scale Jira and Confluence environments. Strong understanding of workflow design, permission models, and platform governance. Proven ability to balance usability, security, and long-term platform sustainability. Experience implementing and maintaining enterprise access control and security frameworks. Self-starter with excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of critical business systems.
